The four essential tags are og:title, og:description, og:image, and og:url. Twitter has its own card tags but falls back to OG tags if they're missing. The previewer shows how all platforms interpret your tags.

Yes! Enter any image URL and the preview will display it in each platform's card. If the image fails to load, it gracefully hides. Use picsum.photos for placeholder images.

The recommended Open Graph image size is 1200x630 pixels (1.91:1 aspect ratio). This works across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Discord. Images should be under 5MB. Use absolute URLs (https://yoursite.com/image.jpg), not relative paths.

Common reasons: (1) Social platforms cache OG data — use their debugger tools to force a refresh (Facebook Sharing Debugger, Twitter Card Validator). (2) The image URL might be relative instead of absolute. (3) The image might be too small or too large. (4) The page might be blocked by robots.txt.
